Botox is an FDA-approved neuromodulator used to relax targeted facial muscles, effectively softening dynamic wrinklescaused by repeated movement. Botox temporarily blocks acetylcholine signals in the targeted muscle, preventing full contraction. This relaxation reduces wrinkle depth and prevents creasing from recurring expression. Over time, with proper maintenance, it can also prevent static lines from forming altogether.

We use a muscle-mapping technique during your consult to evaluate where movement is beneficial versus where it’s aging the skin—ensuring every unit is placed with intention.

We’ll review your treatment history and goals before selecting the most appropriate neuromodulator. Patients who rotate products or develop partial resistance often benefit from alternating with Dysport or Xeomin.

Patients in their mid-20s to early 30s often choose Botox to prevent expression lines from becoming static. This “prejuvenation” approach uses lower doses to soften movement while preserving full facial animation.
